Free stuff to sell on eBay... The #1 question of any new eBay user.

It's not like you want to get up and go buy something to sell on eBay... That defeats the purpose of clearing out your closet!

So let's do some brainstorming and get an idea or two out there that you can use right now.

First of all, remember, you are solving a problem for the person who you are trying to sell to. I know that sounds a little bit strange since you're not really a salesperson, but it really helps to remember that.

You are going to solve somebody's problem.

With that fact in mind, think of this as well:

Many people value things that others do not value.

With these two facts we will find something for you to sell on eBay. It's easy enough.

Something that YOU do not value, will be of VALUE to SOMEBODY ELSE. And that person WANTS WHAT THEY VALUAE because it will SOLVE A PROBLEM for them. No matter how big, or how small the problem, you buy things to solve problems.

If I want to have more fun, and want to buy a Wii, that's solving my problem. The problem of course would be that I want to have more fun. Lack of fun is a problem, psychologically speaking. The Wii would solve that problem and give me fun.

The whole psychology is JUST like that.

Let's imagine... That you have an old bike you aren't using...

Don't you think somebody online would buy a bike from you if it was the right price? Of course!

What if you have... A special lamp. A cool lamp. Maybe a lamp that somebody has been looking for... Because they saw it once and weren't able to buy it... That kind of stuff happens all the time. Especially if it's a "brand name" that people can easily search by...

What if you have a collection of mugs... Or plates... Or bowls... Vases... Candles? Thousands of people buy that kind of stuff online... Just because they are passionate about it!

What about... Old movies... The old VHS system... Where you have to rewind the movies after you watch them. Do you have any of those lying around? Don't you think some enthusiast would want to buy some of them?

Say... It's a HUGE Batman fan... (Obviously there are tons of them)... They may want an "original release" of the first Batman flick... And imagine if you had it? Imagine how many are NOT being sold...? That's how eBay works.

I'm typing on a laptop right now... Can you imagine how fast I could sell that? Do YOU have any computers or electronics you aren't using?

What about cell phones...? Hmm? An old iPhone? An old Razr? An old plasma TV?

Hmm... More free stuff to sell on eBay....

What about... Special shoes... That people would love. Maybe Jordan shoes... People go crazy for those!

Used Tennis rackets... Anything in good condition... An original movie poster? Landline phones?

Night stands...? Tables?

What about a set of books by a famous author?

What about.. A service! Are you a good writer? Can you program? Can you give great advice? What are you good at that you can slap a price on? Many people also sell their services online...

There are just so many things... That you can sell on eBay...
