Sneakers [VHS] Best Review
This movie is both fast paced and exciting and hilarious. At some moments you will be actually be on the edge of your seat (i.e the scene where Redford is in the office) and then there are other scenes you will be cracking up at (i.e when whistler is reading playboy for the blind).
This movie does have swearing but its definitely a movie a family can enjoy.
I would say 10+ even though its pg13.
Great plot, great screenplay, great actors, great movie!

Sneakers [VHS] Overview
This enjoyable thriller, written and directed by Phil Alden Robinson (the screenwriter of Field of Dreams), follows a raggedy group of corporate security experts who get in over their heads when they accept an assignment poaching some hot hardware for the National Security Agency. Robert Redford plays the group's guru, an aging techno-anarchist who has been hiding from the feds since the early 1970s; his companionable gang of freaks includes Dan Aykroyd, David Strathairn, Mary McDonnell, the late River Phoenix, and Sidney Poitier, as a veteran CIA operative turned "sneaker." The technological black box that everybody is after, an array of computer chips that can decode any encrypted message, isn't a very plausible invention, but it's a serviceable McGuffin, and the megalomania of the master plotter played by Ben Kingsley has more resonance than most. Modest inferences can be drawn about the very latest high-tech threats to civil liberties. --David Chute

Tremendous Con Show - picscon -
This show was never advertised much and I just happened to see it at a rental store. The cast is tremendous and
the reverals to political action are great.
One of the better movies from the 90s - S. Bolick - Phoenix, AZ
The movie Sneakers was a great movie of the 90s. These group of guys are paid to test possible inadequacies in their security systems in order to help these businesses ramp up their security. It's very high tech meet civil liberties. It's a timeless movie.
A funny version of Mission Imposible - TheCMan - IA, United States
I saw this first in VHS and loved it. A team of Hackers are hired to break in to peoples business to see if they are as safe as they think. But when the NSA shows up and askes them to take up a whole new job, break into a mathematician's office and steal a little black box. Upon stealing the box the team discovers a secret, this box can hack into any US computer system.
Great Movie and worthy of your DVD collection.
